Keith Dandridge – Oxford Art Bar – Thursday April 3rd 2014
Before I go to my kip, must post what a great gig it was at Oxford Art Bar, despite a pish poor turn out Blue Zoo reminded what a great live band they are. I saw them many moons ago when they were Modern Jazz & I wondered what it was that I liked about them, it was because they were a kick ass live band & they still are, £10 is excellent value for 3 great bands. The Art Bar is a good venue but Blue Zoo are worthy of a far bigger crowd, the best gig I have seen for a long time & Blue Zoo give everything & do not go through the motions & then exit the stage, good luck with the rest of the gigs.

Mark Wise – Same Show
I would like to add to Keith’s comments to completely agree. The last time I saw Blue Zoo was 30 years ago and I always thought they were one of the best live bands I ever saw, tonight just confirmed that I was not wrong. The effort put in by all 3 acts was fantastic for the numbers that were there, when they could have just gone through the motions. I really hope to see you in Oxford again ! thanks for making my birthday so memorable.

They’re a great band. Lots of energy, great songs, great vocals and play all out. Got to see them twice in a row. More fans and music lovers should go and watch them play.

They are one of my favs I ve seen nearly every gig since they reformed.Last night was fairly full in London and a good crowd. These guys just get better and better.Talented musicians with an energy filled show from you all enjoying being on the stage….highly infectious. Was a fan from early teens but never saw Blue Zoo then.So when they reformed I could not have been happier.Last few years have been wonderful and thankyou.Being a Bowie fan as well we are usually treated to a track from the aforementioned.Blue Zoo we love you!

Peter Frostick – The Retreat-Bocking/Braintree-26/04/2014
An earth shattering performance by Blue Zoo at the Retreat last night ……thanks Andy and the boys! And the ‘all the young dudes’ rendition was jawdropping ….’i want some more’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)

Ray Waters – O2 Islington 04/04/2014

Hmmm .. Andy I watched your energetic performace twice on a span of less than a week. You guys played as if you were in your early twenties. Loved the consistency of your gig, no matter who the audience is. You sound so young and the LP then didn’t capture your intended audience. You guys are way better live than on a recorded format.

Vicki Nield-The Retreat Braintree 26/4/2014
– Absolutely brilliant band live, loads of energy for the whole gig and loads of great tracks, they don’t disappoint!

Amanda Austin – Islington Assembly Rooms Nov 2013
All of our friends we have brought along to see Blue Zoo have been mightily impressed. Being an old stalwart, I have to say the new songs stand up just as well as the ones from way back. The last one I came to was Islington Assembly Hall, and on a big stage, was one hell of a show.

Steve Hohmann – Dingwalls Jan 6th 2017
Blue Zoo @ Dingwalls last night – bloody awesome. I missed them first time round but seeing them over deliver leaves me wondering why they never made it bigger. Andy frontman untarnished by passage of time. Hi energy focal point to tight songs – 2 new ones too, as good as their hits. 2017 looking good for them. Good luck lads…

Tracey Miller – Dingwalls Jan 6th 2017
Great night last night, saw the boys in Dunstable in about 1983 and they were just as fab last night
